Working in tandem with Microsoft's Embedded Toolkit (ETK) for C++, the Intrinsyc Integration Expert (IX) for Windows CE simplifies and accelerates critical aspects of Windows CE-based embedded system development. The ETK is the tool used to compile applications, build the OS, download to the target, and debug on the target. It is, however, command-line driven. The IX provides a graphical, intuitive interface to the ETK, as well as various analysis, optimization and integration tools not found in the ETK. IX also facilitates the development of application software in parallel with hardware development, improving developer productivity and reducing time to market.
