Providing a series of easy-to-fill-in forms to define application motion requirements, MotionSoft is said to dramatically reduce motion sequence development time to make motion control configuration easy. Completely motion card independent, this intuitive, state logic and icon-based motion sequence-programming tool eliminates the need to program in any control card native code and its associated language. Numerous pre-programmed motion sequences are provided so that the developer needs only set variables specific to their application. The software presents intuitive forms at each stage of application development: identifying the tag names, specifying the performance parameters for each axis, and using machine sequence to develop a state transition diagram. It also provides tools for sequence control, motion profiles, pre-programmed I/O integrated with motion tasks and timing diagrams.
