Published Date: November 01, 1999
Design engineers can inexpensively Internet-enable even the smallest electronic devices for remote access, control and monitoring using simple, familiar interfaces with EMIT (Embedded Micro Internetworking Technology) device-networking software, which has been ported to the PIC12C67X, Microchip Technology's 8-pin microprocessor with a/d converter. The PCI12C67X family of 8-pin chips are extremely small in size and are suited for use in a broad range of applications, including light sensors and switches, door locks, security systems and industrial systems.
