Addressing the increasing complexity and speed of digital systems, as well as time-to-market pressures, the Model 16702B logic analyzer is said to be the first such instrument to combine a touch-screen with a windowed interface. The touch-screen gives users access to all the logic analyzer features and tools. Hot keys on the instrument give instant access to the most frequently used windows, including waveform and state listing displays, mixed displays, setups, and help and file-manager windows. Other Model 16702B features include a 9-GB disk drive, a built-in 40x CD-ROM drive, and a 100-BaseT interface. An optional external 9-GB hard drive also is available.
