GUI Adds Unicode, Becomes Multingual
June 2000 Issue
Published Date: June 01, 2000
Version 1.2 of Eyelet GUI custom graphical user interface design tool now includes Unicode and multilingual capabilities, allowing the development of products that support most of the world's languages. Unicode, a superset of the ASCII character set, supports two-byte character sets and can manage 65,536 character combinations. The program can now capture the Unicode fonts under Windows 2000/NT, making it possible for the embedded product to display the font.
Other recent features include compatibility with Motorola 68K and Intel x86 and StrongARM processors. It also supports Linux, as well as pSOSystem, Precise/MQX, uCOS, eCOS, and LynxOS operating systems.
