Affordable EMC compliance testing for commercial products ranging from pagers and mobile phones to laptops and desktop computers is possible with a new line of small-chamber GTEM test cells. The systems can perform radiated and immunity testing in a single fixed, shielded environment covering test frequencies from dc to 18 GHz. The GTEM line includes both the standard version and the no-frills Lite version. The standard GTEM features means-filtering, lighting, and safety interlocks. The GTEM Lite has a narrower test frequency with smaller dimensions. Price ranges from $30,000 to $150,000.
