Standard types include direct ac/dc wall plug-in and desktop transformers, from 3 Vdc at 100mA to 48 Vdc at 250 mA, or 4 Vac at100 mA to 27 Vac at 700 mA, in hundreds of standard configurations. PC and chassis mount power transformers, from 2.5 VA to 175 VA, have dual bobbins and insulating shrouds for 40 kVRMS isolation between primary and secondary. Terminal-type power transformers are rated from 25 VA to 175 VA.
