The options allow users to correlate physical layer signals with protocol-layer information. The CANbus TD combines standard oscilloscope capabilities, CAN Bus triggering, and protocol decode in one test system. It reportedly simplifies the capture of a specific CAN message or error frame and allows the user view protocol data on the same display as the CAN analog signals.
