Increasing protection against electrical shock, the company's EMI filters employ an encapsulated, UL94-V0-compliant plastic enclosure that also complies with EN 133200 and UL 1283. The components eliminate the capacitor to ground connection, a technique that promises to significantly reduce leakage current. Target products include appliances, medical devices, industrial equipment, motor control, lighting, recreational vehicles, and retrofit applications. The filters are available in line voltages from 100 to 120 Vac or 200 to 240 Vac. Standard models include 5-mH common-mode inductors with a current rating up to 6A. Options include bypass capacitors for increased differential mode noise rejection and MOVs to protect against line transients.
