The company's latest 8U tall x 19" VXS enclosure meets VITA 41.0-200x specifications and effectively handles increased data bandwidth transfer demands while maintaining backward compatibility with all VMEbus structures. Its backplane conforms to both the VITA 41.0 Rev 1.10 VXS core and VITA 38 specifications for system management. A high-speed multi-GIG RT-2 connector provides up to 6.4 Gb/s switched serial traffic over the PO and maintains compatibility with VME64X COTS boards that do not include a PO connector. Other features include a 901 Series card guide deck accommodating 12 6U x 1, 6 mm x 160 mm boards, 10 payload slots, and two switch-card slots. Price for a standard system starts at $7,430.
