Published Date: October 12, 2006
In an industry-standard package measuring 9.6 mm x 22.5 mm x 15.2 mm, the G5LE-E series power PCB relays switch up to 16A at 250 Vac. Coils are available with 5-, 12-, and 24-Vdc ratings, each of which specifies a power consumption of 360 mW and employs an extended-temperature, class-F insulation system. Available in SPST-NO or SPDT contact configurations, the relays are capable of switching digital signals, making them suitable for use in HVAC, consumer, and commercial appliances. They are flux sealed and RoHS compliant. Other features include a temperature range from -40ºC to +85°C, electrical life of 50,000 operations minimum, and a pulse-withstand voltage of 4.5 kV for 1.2 x 50 µs. Prices range from $0.75 to $0.85 each/5,000. OMRON ELECTRONICS LLC, Schaumburg, IL. (800) 556-6766.
