For monitoring temperature and processing tasks, the 1/16 DIN CN7400 temperature and process limit controllers and 1/16 DIN CN7800 ramp/soak controllers offer users a number of options. The CN7400 controllers claim to set new standards in 1/16 DIN limit controls. They offer universal inputs that include one voltage, one current, 10 thermocouple, and four RTD inputs. Standard features include remote reset and a dual display showing both process and set-point values. The CN7800 controllers provide a dual LED display indicating both process and set-point values. Control methods include on/off andPID, plus auto and manual tune. Also providing universal inputs, the devices include an RS-485 interface and two additional alarm outputs, configurable via 13 alarm functions.
