Polycarbonate Enclosure Family Adds New Members June 27, 2008
Joining the company's line of polycarbonate enclosures are standard UL-listed enclosures for control and measuring equipment deployed in the harshest operating environments. According to the company, the family now provides users with the widest selection of UL-listed enclosure sizes in the industry. The small to medium size enclosures consist of two styles, the TK Series and EK Series, both of which carry an IP65 (NEMA 4X) rating. The TK Series includes 13 different enclosures with several cover heights. With overall sizes ranging from 50 mm x 52 mm to 360 mm x 254 mm, standard features include gray or tinted transparent covers, a low base and multiple fixing points, and sidewalls and end walls, smooth or with knockouts. The EK Series houses IEC components such as DIN-mount circuit breakers, switches, meters, and other control devices. Their covers integrate a shrouded cutout and transparent hinged doors for access and visibility. Overall sizes range from 130 mm x 94 mm to 361 mm x 254 mm.
