Circuit Breaker Provides Adjustable Trip Time

July 03, 2008
Forecasting precise overload protection, the Guard Family of circuit breakers employ a chip plus magnetic control, which allows users to set exact trip times. Target applications include stationary and portable generators, telecom equipment, industrial machines, medical equipment, welding machines, controllers, elevators, transportation equipment, air conditioners, and power tools. The component's fast-acting magnetic trip can reportedly resist any high inrush set-up, providing maximum short-circuit protection. Sealed and insulated from variable environments and conditions, the Guard Family is available in one- to four-pole configurations. Additionally, the circuit breakers are field adjustable for current rating, trip current, and trip curve. MASTER DISTRIBUTORS, Santa Monica, CA. (310) 452-1229.
