3W White LEDs Enhance Lighting Apps November 13, 2008
Expanding the Moostone family of LEDs for solid-state lighting apps, the 3W cool-white ASMT-Mx20 and warm-white ASMT-Mx22 low-profile, surface-mount LEDs are capable of being driven at high currents with a typical light output of 145 lumens. Both LEDs offer a wide 120? viewing angle, reportedly good color and light-output uniformity, and low thermal resistance to maintain long-term device reliability. Additionally, they are compatible with standard surface-mount technology reflow soldering processes. Other features include 145 lm typical at 700 mA, 16 kV of ESD resistance, and RoHS compliance.
